Something Old, Something New

I changed Addie's earrings this week, from diamonds to new pearls (to her). Mom cleaned out her jewelry box and found my old pearls from when I was little. I have been looking for some for Addie, but I haven't been able to find any small enough. These are perfect.

When Mom's AWAY NOT LOOKING, Addie Grace will make a Mess

I'm definitely not ready for Addie to be completely mobile. The other day I left her in the floor with her bottle, went to start some laundry, and this is what I came back to. She really has a thing for baskets. If she sees one she is after it, just to pull everything out of it. As I'm typing this, she's playing in a clothes basket. HA!!!

Headed Home

We are on our way home, currently going down I65 about 20 miles from Montgomery. We had a great time, but ready to get home. Addie is exhausted, love her heart. She has been so good, both in the car and at the beach. I'm pretty sure that she is also ready to get home and back to her normal routine.

I found this tiny crab at the beach yesterday while Addie was playing in the sand. I don't know how I even seen it.

We Love the BEACH

We are having so much fun, although I really miss Mark. Addie was so good yesterday. The ocean was very calm and she loved it.

She sat on the towel under the umbrella most of the time. She just played and watched everyone else.

She was very interested in the sand!!!

Addie's First Visit to the Beach

We are in Destin, Fl. for a few days!!!! We got here around 2:00 this afternon. and since it was overcast, we just decided to take Addie down to the beach to see if she would like it. Here are the pictures that I took of her first expressions of the sand and ocean!

We can't wait to hit the beach in the morning. We are staying in a beautiful condo that Uncle Mike got us for FREE. I promise to post more pics soon!

Happy 4th July and Happy 7 Months to Addie

I can't believe it has been 7 months since I first held my sweet baby girl. Soo long yet sooo short ago. I never imagined how much she would change our lives. She is everything I ever imagined she would be and more. I am so glad I get the chance to be at home with her during the week.

At 7 months

• Addie is still wearing her 3-6 months clothes and size 2 diapers.
• She waved bye bye to me yesterday for the first time. (I almost cried!)
• Addie loves anything we put in her mouth, she eats and eats and eats!!!!
• Sleeps most of the night, and loves to nap in our bed during the day.
• Is about to make her first trip to the beach. Can't wait!!!!
